HG_E-type Posted May 6, 2020 Share Posted May 6, 2020 Hallo, Mijn XK8 (1998) heeft nu een koelvloeistof van oranje achtige kleur. Kan ik deze aanvullen met Kroon coolant SP12+ (G12)? hansvh Posted May 6, 2020 Share Posted May 6, 2020 Als er nu een oranje kleur koelvloeistof in zit dan istie al eens vervangen (gezien de leeftijd natuurlijk wel te verwachten ). Oorspronkelijk zit er Jaguar-specifieke koelsvloeistof in met een gele kleur ( DOW D542 spec). Volgens de site van Kroon is de SP12 koelvloeistof geschikt voor de AJ-V8 motor. Deze heeft een lila kleur kennelijk. Ik zou 'm sowieso niet mixen met het spul dat er nu inzit. Gewoon alles vervangen. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HG_E-type Posted May 6, 2020 Author Share Posted May 6, 2020 Hallo, Heb net de aftapplug van de radiator gehaald. Maar er komt maar zo'n 5 liter uit. Bij mijn weten bevat het totale systeem 9.5 liter. Zit de rest nog in het blok? En zo ja hoe krijg ik dat eruit? Ik heb het al even met de compressor doorgeblazen maar dat hielp niet veel.
